A CELEBRITY gardener is coming to Beeford, courtesy of the Kelk Garden Club.
Television gardener Christine Walkden, who is currently enjoying success as the resident gardening expert on BBC’s The One Show, will be giving a talk at Beeford Community Centre at 7.30pm on Tuesday November 4.
Tickets cost £10 and are available from Georgina Middlewood on tel (01262) 488350.
All those unable to attend the evening will get a second chance to meet Christine at the 11th annual spring plant Kelleythorpe from 9.30am to 4pm on Sunday March 29, 2009.
Christine will be coming to the fair, organised by the Kelk branch of the Yorkshire Countrywomen’s Association and Kelk Garden Club, to host the Gardener’s Question Time.
Admission to the event is £2 and children go for free.
