THE 60th annual Middleton-on-the-Wolds Show drew strong entries and large crowds at the weekend.
Former show chairman, Pearl Burdass, presented the prizes at the event held in the village hall on Saturday.

Organisers said they were pleased with the success of the show, which saw just under 500 entries exhibited.

Show committee chairman, Felicity Primmer, said the judges had been particularly impressed with the quality of entries in the adult cookery and flower arranging categories.

"It was a really good show," she said.

She also paid tribute to her colleagues on the committee for all their hard work over several months to make the show possible.

She said: "It has been going a long time.

"We couldn't do it without them."
