More than £500 raised at Beswick and Watton School summer fete

SUPPORTERS of Beswick and Watton Primary School turned out on Sunday in spite of the weather for their annual summer fete.

The event raised a total of £509.39 for school funds, a total which organisers said was slightly down on previous years, largely because of the unsettled weather.
