RESIDENTS and shoppers in Driffield were treated to an impromptu live acoustic performance from a Christian band in the town centre.
The group, On The Move, were in town to promote Driffield's Christian heritage and invite passers-by to a free barbecue in the Methodist Church car park, Middle Street North.
The group of seven, including the Rev Jonathan Couper of Christ Church, Bridlington, sang a number of modern Christian songs accompanied by a guitar.
Mr Couper said: "This is the group's first visit to Driffield and we are really impressed with the unity of the church and the excitement there."
On The Move are a group which travels across the UK promoting Christianity and Mr Couper is one of the co-ordinators for the north of England.
