MEMBERS enjoyed a very entertaining evening recently with local photographer and wildlife expert David Southall.
He had devised a light hearted quiz linked to the pictures he showed of Yorkshire places, flora and fauna. Thanks to some carefully worded clues everyone was able to achieve at least some success!
The photographs themselves were stunning and obviously the result of many hours spent waiting for the 'right moment' to press the shutter.
As well as asking the quiz questions David also gave interesting details of the places he had visited and of the creatures, some in amazing close-ups captured on film.
The coach to Lincoln leaves Eastgate car park on Saturday, November 22 at 8.30am and should be back in Driffield around 6pm.
Our next meeting will take place on Wednesday, December 3, three weeks from the last meeting, in the Maple Room at the Bell Hotel at 7.45pm. The speaker will be from Morrisons' Supermarket.
