A VILLAGE hall revamp has been given a huge boost thanks to two successful fundraising events.
Residents of Burton Flemming turned out in force to support a dance and coffee morning held in Burton Flemming village hall in order to raise funds for necessary improvements to the hall, the priority being to purchase new chairs for the venue.
The coffee morning raised £42 and the dance raised a grand total of £425 for the cause.
Organiser, Kate Mercer has thanked all those who attended both events, saying: “Thanks to everybody who supported the coffee morning.
“The dance was very successful, I would like to thank everyone for coming, all the money raised is for village hall improvements.”
The next fundraising event in aid of Village Hall improvements will be a whist drive on Thursday March 1 at Burton Flemming Village Hall.
