Plants for flood victims

FINAL preparations are under way in Driffield ahead of a great plant giveaway in aid of East Riding flood victims.
Volunteers from the town have been donating their time and effort to help the founder of the plant bank, Angela Train, of Exchange Street, label, pot, and package up thousands of donated trees and shrubs bound for Hull.
The plants will be collected today and taken to the New Life Church, Hull, to be distributed to victims during a family fun day between 10am and 3pm tomorrow.
