IN reply to a Driffield resident re brown bin collections. We live in the country and have a large area of grass to cut plus hedge cuttings.
In the summer, the grass needs cutting twice a week and our brown bin will be full in one week, let alone two.

So, we will have to do what we have done previously - take all our extra garden waste to the Carnaby recycling plant.

Goodness knows what the bin will smell like on hot days while waiting to be emptied. Obviously, a Driffield resident cannot have a large garden.

A rural resident from Harpham. Name and address supplied.
