On Saturday evening St. Mary's Church, Fridaythorpe, held a piano concert with the renowned Graham Caskie at Sledmere House to help raise much needed funds for the church.
The evening was a great success and may I take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped, Sir Tatton Sykes Bt. for allowing us to use his home for the concert, Sarah Flather and all the staff at Sledmere who made the evening go without any problems.

Also Lisa Anderson, of Finer Catering, who provided a wonderful hot supper for all our guests, Chris from Simpson's Wine Vaults for providing the wine, the Driffield Times / Post for the article and coverage they provided us.

We would also like to thank all the other businesses that have supported and helped us to make this evening a success.

Finally, a big thank you to Graham Caskie for donating his time to our fund raising.

Richard Pinder, of Windy Ridge, Mere Grange, Fridaythorpe, by
