A resident of Victoria Road, Driffield, writes . . .
I WOULD just like to say to all the people who leave their empty spirit and alcohol bottles, cans and the like in Etherington Lane, but most of all to the people who bring their dogs to foul in the lane, it is access to five properties.

In addition, a school play area runs alongside it.

How do you think these people feel about the smell and flies hovering over the fouling?

Would you like these people to follow you back to your homes with their rubbish? I think not.

Etherington Lane is used by quite a lot of people.

So please think of all those who use the lane and clear up after you.
