Abusive message daubed across lawn

AN abusive message was daubed on the lawn of a property in a village near Beverley last week.
The incident is understood to have happened at a house on Burshill, Brandesburton, sometime between Sunday May 25 and Sunday June 1.

A spokesman for Humberside Police said this week: “An abusive message, using inappropriate language, has been written on the lawn using a substance believed to be weed killer.

“The incident has caused significant distress to the owner of the property.”
