A TALENTED Driffield magician is preparing to stage a magic show at a town pub.
Joe Harper, who was recently named runner-up of the Young Magicians’ Club’s Junior Day, will perform tricks at the Rose and Crown Driffield on Saturday.

He comes fresh from performing alongside professional magicians John Palfreyman, Clive Moore, Jean Ellison and Brian Sefton at the Derby Magic Circle Presidents’ night last weekend.

Joe, 16, was asked back to the pub after an evening performing at tables in between rounds on a quiz night.

Joe, who is a member of the Young Magicians’ Club, proposes to perform a combination of stage and close-up magic at the pub.

Joe has been named the Young Magicians’ Club’s member of the month and has been asked to take part in a show to entertain adult members of the Magic Circle.

Joe Harper will perform from 8.30pm on Saturday February 16 at the Rose and Crown in Driffield.
