Harpist to play in Nafferton

A SPARKLING family afternoon will be presented by harpist Katie Roberts on Sunday November 2 at All Saints' Church, Nafferton

During the programme, the artist, playing with rings on her fingers and bells around her ankles and bringing triple, concert and folk harps, will play pieces in varied styles from western classics to music from the Court of Queen Elizabeth the First.

During the afternoon, which starts at 2.30pm, members of the audience will be able to enjoy the opportunity to try the instruments for themselves.

Schoolchildren are invited to attend the concert free of charge and tickets, including refreshments, and programmes are available from Geoff Hall, tel (01377) 272617.
