English rock band Kasabian will perform at The Spa on Sunday, June 14
Jo Clarke, sales and customer service manager at The Spa said: "As with previous concerts we are very excited to have such a fantastic rock talent performing in East Yorkshire and delighted that The Spa remains a top venue choice for concert promoters and bands.
"We're almost one year on from opening after the building's redevelopment and we've already had The Pigeon Detectives, The Kooks, Scouting for Girls and Sugababes, so Kasabian will be in good company."
The band has been compared with the likes of Primal Scream, with whom they share an electronica-indie rock fusion, and The Stone Roses and Oasis, with whom they share confidence, swagger and rough vocal style.
They are currently supporting Oasis on their national tour.
The band will be releasing their new album 'The West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum' on Monday 8 June, just before visiting The Spa.
