THE line-up for this weekend's (August 8-10)Burton Agnes Jazz Festival has been extended.
The Hull-based Rob Law Trio have been added to the bill for the festival.
Organiser and performer, Simon Cunliffe-Lister, said he was expecting around 2,000 people through the gates.

The festival venue, Burton Agnes Hall, threw open its gates for this popular annual event on Friday with the first acts taking to the stage from 6pm.

Twenty-seven diverse acts were set to perform tunes from various genres from Dixieland to modern jazz.

Artists included The Joel Purnell Quartet, Cubana Bop, Esther Miller, Tees Valley Jazz Men, Kevin Holbrough, RevRay, Safari, Mad Dog Jones and The Sophisticats, Java and Julie Edwards.

The closing act for the festival, which ends on Sunday (August 10), will feature Mr Cunliffe-Lister, owner of Burton Agnes Hall, on saxophone with co-organiser Saffron Byass of North Dalton and her band.


The performance times for the festival are Friday 6pm to 11pm, Saturday 11am to 11pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm.
