LARGE crowds once again gathered at Dalton Park on Sunday for the annual Holderness Hunt point to point.
The meeting, which has been staged at Dalton Park for more than 50 years, saw a total of eight races contested.

Chris Richardson, joint master of the hunt, told the Driffield Times there had been good entries and good racing in all the contests.

He said: "It was a really good day and enjoyed by all, I'm sure."
Final attendance figures for the event are not yet known, but it is thought the crowd ran into thousands of spectators.

Mr Richardson said: "We're always pleased to see everybody from everywhere and we thank them all for coming."

The date for next year's event is set to be finalised within the next month and will again be a Sunday in March.
