THE 28th annual rally of the Goldwing Owners Club of Great Britain held at Driffield Showground over the weekend was a great success despite the efforts of the weather to wash out the event.
A total of 750 bikes attended the rally with more than 100 riders travelling to the town from outside the U.K. In all, riders from 14 nations were present.

Chris Hinds, the club's chairman, said "This has been our first visit to Driffield and I don't think it will be our last. Despite the problems, we had with the weather it has been a great success.

"Driffield Showground staff have been fantastic in helping us get settled in and the people of Driffield made us very welcome and came out in great numbers for our two parades through the town."
