SUPPORTERS of the Nafferton Bells Fund gathered at Driffield's Community Centre on Thursday for an afternoon of easy sequence dancing.
A total of £138 was raised at the event, which will go towards the ongoing appeal to replace the bells at the village's All Saints Church.
More than £9,000 has now been raised for the project since the committee's appeal was first launched almost two years ago.

Events ranging from craft fairs, dances and concerts to prize draws and even sponsored swims have all been staged in a bid to raise vital cash for the campaign.

And fundraising efforts are set to continue next weekend as the committee host a craft fair at the village hall.

The fair will take place next Saturday October 18, between 10am and 4pm.
Attractions will include a range of stalls including cakes, preserves, books, bric a brac and a tombola. Admission is free.

The committee have also announced this week that they will be holding a Christmas concert in the church in the run-up to the festive season.

The show is set to take place on Saturday December 13 from 6.30pm.

The programme for the concert is currently being arranged and full details will be announced in due course.

Campaign organisers should note that no further dances are being held in aid of the committee in the near future.
