A GROUP of students from East Riding College Foundation Department put on their own theatre production to raise money for charity.
The 17 students performed the classic Andrew Lloyd-Webber musical 'Cats' to an audience at the Gallows Lane campus in Beverley.

The 40-minute production was put together as part of 'enrichment' lessons where students take part in extra-curricular activities such as sport and art.

All the cast members are on the College's Skills for Working Life course. Hair and make-up was done by the students on hair and beauty courses.

The performance raised £63, which the students chose to donate to Cats Protection.
