A DRIFFIELD man has been arrested and bailed in connection with a road accident on Monday evening.
The man, aged 38, was detained in Bridlington on suspicion of driving while over the prescribed alcohol limit and released on bail to report back to officers in July.

Police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened on the B1249 at Brigham, to come forward.

A Humberside Police spokesman said they had received a report that a blue Vauxhall Astra had left the road at around 6.45pm.

But the driver of the car was not at the scene of the incident when the officers arrived.

Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to contact police on 0845 6060222, quoting log number 562 of May 19.
