This July sees the fourth year of this exciting and enjoyable community festival in the unique historic setting of Bridlington's Old Town.
The first weekend (July 4th and 5th) sees the ever-popular Secret Gardens of the Old Town, when you can visit a great diversity of gardens hidden from view behind the Georgian facades, with the added attraction of artists at work in some gardens, a g
ardening expert on hand to deal with your gardening queries and problem plants, and cream teas to enjoy.

There are concerts in the Priory, including the very popular EYMS brass band and the children's evening, 'Young Voices in Concert', and a Jazz and Folk concert. The Priory will also house a fabulous exhibition, 'Stitches in Time', from Sunday 5th to Sunday 12th.

This will present top-class textiles and embroidery, including modern church vestments, college diploma work, and needlework by all ages including young primary school children.

The Festival will culminate on Sunday July 12th, 'Old Town Day', when the whole centre of Old Town will be traffic-free and 'en fete', from the Food and Craft Fair in Market Place, along the High Street with is performers - and a tug of war - and pavement cafes, to Church Green.

There at the Old Town Show you can enjoy all the entries of produce, cooking, craft and many other classes - indeed we hope you will have entered a number of classes yourself!), enter and watch the fun Dog Show, and - for the children - small animal show, watch demonstrations including the Bridlington Morris Dancers and a blacksmith at work.

So make the most of all these opportunities and take the chance to explore all the Old Town has to offer - its galleries, restaurants, shops and unique atmosphere.
