DRIFFIELD Action Medical Research held their annual dinner last Thursday, at which the guest speaker Godfrey Bloom, MEP for Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
Chair of the group, Margaret Brennand, also addressed the audience of around 100 people, and spoke about the need for more research into premature birth.
Driffield Action Medical Research raise funds for organisations which further medical research - Mrs Brennand said they raise around £8,000 each year.
