TWO local MPs showed their support for the Driffield Show by travelling from Westminster to attend the Driffield Showground.
The town's MP Greg Knight and Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart were on hand to meet constituents, visitors and stallholders.
The MPs also toured the showground admiring the first-class livestock and produce on show.

Mr Knight described the Driffield Show as "one of the best agricultural and produce shows in the country and a magnificent celebration of food and farming in East Yorkshire."

Mr Knight added: "I am always happy to support the Driffield Show. It is a great opportunity to promote local industry, farming and food to visitors and locals alike."

The MPs even had a stall of their own, where they listened to the concerns show visitors expressed about the economy, handed out contact cards and talked with constituents about their work at Westminster.

They were supported by many local councillors including Driffield's Symon Fraser and Felicity Temple.
