The members of the Driffield Trefoil Guild were pleased to welcome the Rev Mike Smith to their November meeting and enjoyed a lovely visual presentation of the two holidays.
Mike and his wife had taken in Jordan and Syria. We were amazed to see the tombs carved out of the rock, the area where Raiders of the Lost Arc was filmed and Mike floating in the Dead Sea.

We would like to thank Mike for a very enjoyable evening
.

Also during November several members had competed in the twice yearly Ten Pin bowling competition in Hull and Sheila presented two winners with Centenary pens.

Several members travelled to Beverley in the pouring rain on Monday November 16 to take part in the Beverley Guild Town Trail Walk. The walk started with coffee and a tour around Beverley Friary and then continued with another coffee stop at The Treasure House and ended with soup and rolls at the Methodist Church, another enjoyable day in spite of the weather.

The next meeting on Tuesday December 15 is our Christmas Meeting.

Will members please note that we are having a look back evening so if you have an old guiding photograph please bring it with you.

We are also having a bring and buy stall for our centenary special fundraising for Malawi and the Air Ambulance.
