Driffield man in court on GBH charge

A DRIFFIELD man accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm is to appear in court next month.

Matthew John Jarvis, 25, will appear at Bridlington Magistrates Court on June 3 for case direction.

The case was adjourned at a hearing in Bridlington yesterday (Tuesday). It is expected Jarvis will be committed to Crown Court.

Jarvis, of The Chase in Driffield, is charged with inflicting grievious bodily harm without intent on 27-year-old Adam Saunders, also of Driffield, in February.
