A SENSATIONAL 'undie cover' calendar is set to send pulses racing as it exposes the bare necessities of a group of Driffield business men and women.
No-one's blushes will be spared as the flirty two dozen are caught with their pants down - all in the name of charity.

Photographer Mark Titcombe has captured the imagination - and quite a bit more - of some of the Driffield area's best known traders and business people in a bid to flesh out the calendar with tempting transparencies and sultry snaps.
Each photo shows a man or woman in an environment which alludes towards the job they do.

For instance, green grocer Andy Rafter is pictures behind an exciting montage of vegetables, while is wife poses with an arrangement of flowers.

Meanwhile farm accountant Linda Artley is positioned amid a mound of straw bales.

But, as Kenny Everett might have said, everything is in the best possible taste.

There are a few surprises among those who have agreed to pose.

Willing models include farmer and landowner Derek Megginson, vet Keith Dalby, Driffield show director Dave Tite, and Helen Turton from Flowers and Frames.

The calendar is expected to go on sale in the next few weeks.
The fund-raising effort has been inspired by Lisa Anderson, a local caterer and regular stall holder at Driffield Farmers' Market.

She is planning to participate in a Cancer Research International Challenge of 'Trek for Life' along part of the Great Wall of China.

In order for this to happen, she has a minimum of £3,500 to raise in sponsorship and fundraising.

With this, a huge challenge in itself, she is currently in the process of organising the calendar for 2007, based upon a cross section of people and businesses from the community in and around Driffield.

The calendar will feature 24 photographs in total, two for each month - one male and one female.

Lisa said that she had been overwhelmed by the tremendous support and positive response received from people she has approached to be photographed and feature in the calendar.

Lisa approached local photographer Mark Titcombe from FotoFocused, who enthusiastically agreed to undertake the project free of charge - and even appear in the publication.

The photo shoots are now well under way and the calendars will be on sale from October.
