A PASSENGER had to be cut free after a vehicle left the road and went into a ditch on the A165 at Beeford.
Fire crews were called to the incident which closed the road for more than two hours.

The driver of the vehicle and two passengers had released themselves before the crews arrived, but one passenger was trapped in the rear of the vehicle.

Hydraulic cutting equipment was used to remove the rear door. The casualty was given oxygen and was fitted with a neck collar before being taken to hospital.
