As part of the ongoing Bridlington Integrated Transport Plan works, East Riding of Yorkshire Council's framework contractor, C Spencer Ltd, will continue the construction of two roundabouts on the public highway from the 2nd November 2009 at the following locations:
* A614/Bridlington Bay Road junction, Carnaby.
* A165/South Cliff Caravan Park access junction, Bridlington.

The works on the A614 at Carnaby are anticipated to take 16 weeks, whilst the works on the A165 are anticipated to take 13 weeks.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council have worked together with their contractor to prepare a programme that minimises the impact to motorists and apologises in advance for any traffic disruption caused by these works.

It is intended that, at both sites, traffic will mainly be managed with cones and signs; however there will be periods where traffic signals are necessary in order to maintain safety.

No works are proposed over the Christmas holidays and the highway will be left with minimal traffic management in order to ease traffic flows.
