SOME of Driffield's best know business people will be exposed in an undie-cover operation this week.
A host of game-for-a-laugh locals have posed in the buff for a charity calendar which has gone on sale at a number of outlets.

The money raised from their bravery will go towards Cancer Research.

The launch signals the culmination of several mo
nths of hard work led by Lisa Anderson, a local caterer and regular stall holder at Driffield Farmers Market who is planning to participate in a Cancer Research International Challenge of 'Trek for Life' along part of the Great Wall of China.

In order for this to happen, she has a minimum of £3,500 to raise in sponsorship and fundraising.

So, she organised a calendar for 2007, based upon a cross section of people and businesses from the community of Driffield.

The calendar will feature 24 photographs in total, two for each month - one male and one female.

Said Lisa: "This is no ordinary calendar, but is in fact an extremely tasteful nude one - with everything discreetly covered.

She said that she had been overwhelmed by the tremendous support and positive response received from people she has approached to be photographed and feature in the calendar. The images have been taken by Photographer Mark Titcombe from FotoFocused, who enthusiastically agreed to undertake the project free of charge.

The calendars are on sale from today and are available from Sokells, Rafters, Flowers and Frames, Beach Hut, Albion St Vets, Roger Bentleys, and the Finer Preserves Stall at Driffield Farmers Market on Saturday November 4.
