THE election timetable to fill a vacancy in Driffield's South West Ward has been announced.
Election notices will be published on Thursday October 9 and the deadline for all nominations is Friday October 17.

Driffield town council have agreed to send out polling cards to residents ahead of polling day on Thursday November 13. The election follows the resignation of councillor John Alvey and comes as a result of 10 members of the public asking to go to the polls in the South West Ward.

The remaining two vacancies caused by Stephanie Murray’s and Mark Warner’s resignations and will be filled by co-option, which will take place after the election.
