THE Twydale Business Park on Skerne Road, Driffield, is going from strength to strength with 10 out of the 15 units now occupied
Site manager, Martin McKalroy, told the Driffield Times: "The smaller units are the ones in demand, the bigger ones are going a bit slower.
"The local economy is picking up a bit. The one- man band type businesses seem to be doing the most."

The
handy location and prices in Driffield are what attracted Skerne Road Valeting Service to set up at the site.

Paula Fenn, who runs the business with Gary Hilton, said: "We chose Driffield for its location and because it's cheaper than Bridlington.
"We have been here two months and it was slow at the start, but now things are picking up."

Refrigeration on the Wolds relocated from Albion Street, Driffield.
Director, Steve Fletcher, said: "We are preparing to move in and are getting a showroom set up to start selling appliances."

The other newcomers to the site include Eastgate Self Drive Hire, Scott's Carpets and KNT Hire and Sales.

Tim Whittaker, director of new business for Prospect Estates which has redeveloped the site, said: "Twydale Business Park continues to attract local and regional companies.

"Take up of accommodation has increased dramatically in 2008 with five new tenants occupying close to 10,000 sq ft of space."
