Changes to health care

The East Riding of Yorkshire Local Involvement Network (ERYLINk) is holding its Autumn Forum at the Market Weighton Bowls Club, Beverley Road, Market Weighton on Tuesday 9 October.

The event will be focussed on the Health and Social Care Bill 2012 and the changes to the way Health Care Services are commissioned.

Guest speakers from the East Riding’s Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust will let us know just what is happening. Neil Marsay of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service First Responders Service will also be present to ask for your help and Joan Fletcher, ERYLINk Chair and Angie Ward of ERYC will also be speaking.

This free event will start at 10am with registration and coffee and run through until 4pm. A light buffet lunch will be provided to all those who book their place in advance.

To reserve your place call ERYLINk on 01377 232137 or 01377 232135, email erylink@hwrcc.org.uk or pick up one of the flyers from Edwards Opticians, Genix Healthcare Dental Clinic, Boots the Chemist, Market Weighton Town Council Office, Market Weighton Surgery or the Wicstun Centre and return it free of charge to the ERYLINk address provided on the flyer.

This really is a great opportunity to hear all about the changes which will affect you and your health care. Please reserve your place before 5 October 2012.
