A man has been charged with assaulting a police officer in Bridlington.

The officer was assaulted at an address in Bridlington early in the morning of Tuesday January 28.

A man, 29, of Bridlington has been charged with the offence.

He has been bailed to appear at Beverley Magistrates Court next month.
