Diver, 74, found off the coast of Scarborough is named

An inquest has been opened into death of a diver who went missing off the Scarborough coast.

The inquest of Christopher Charles Sampson Baker, of Scarborough, has now been opened by coroner Michael Oakley.

The 74-year-old failed to surface while diving a wreck off the coast of Scarborough on Sunday July 8.

The cause of death is unascertained at this time.
