Staff aim for safety - YOUR LETTERS

As teaching assistants with a wealth of experience who work in the foundation unit at Driffield Church of England School we feel compelled to write regarding the article you printed concerning the school playground.

We are deeply upset because, as part of the staff team, our aim is to create a safe, happy, stimulating environment for the children to learn, enjoy and reach their full potential. We see the children using this equipment on a daily basis and always ensure it is used in a creative and controlled manner.

The children’s creations and imagination are a pleasure to see and we feel very fortunate that we are a part of this stage of their educational development.
