Stop being so PC - YOUR LETTERS

I just had to write to you concerning the front page of the Times & Post.

I had the pleasure of working at the school, being on the board of governors and both my children happily attending the school.

The school is one of the loveliest schools in the area; all the teachers and support staff dedicate their time to make sure the children learn through enjoyment.

My own children still talk about the teachers and staff at the school.

If Mrs Deighton-Haywood is not happy with the school, maybe she should send her child to an inner-city school, and then she may realise what a lovely safe school her child is able to attend.

She should stop being so PC, and give children the freedom they deserve, not being brought up into a society where they are alway being told ‘you can’t do this, you may hurt yourself’.

The school is correct in using natural material; it is making the children think for themselves, and giving them a whole lot of confidence.

Well done Driffield Infant School.
