A successful Coffee Morning at the home of Sonia Butler in Cranswick raised £515 to help her Great Niece, Charlotte.

Charlotte was born prematurely and she was later diagnosed with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, which means she has stiffness in the muscles of her arms, legs and back that severely limit her movements. The family plan to raise enough money for Charlotte to travel to America for an operation and therapy that will improve her mobility and enable her to walk.

More information about Charlotte’s condition, her feisty personality, and the Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) can be found on the website: www.charlottesangels.co.uk – the site also offers the opportunity to donate.

Sonia wishes to thank her team of helpers who worked so hard to make her fundraising event such a success. They are all now ‘Charlotte’s Angels’.

Sonia had an array of stalls throughout her house and garden. Sincere thanks to everyone who contributed by donating goods or by coming along to enjoy refreshments and purchase items.
