Three people have died following an incident aboard a German vessel in Goole.
Police are now working with the health and safety executive and the Maritime Agency to establish the circumstances.
The three men were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary following an incident aboard a German cargo.
Initial reports said that they had what were believed to be “serious injuries”
Police had been called at 7.10am on Monday 26 May, after reports that a man had been taken ill aboard the vessel, which had docked at West Dock, Bridge Street in Goole.
The man, along with two others, was taken to HRI by Ambulance and sadly died a short time later.
The men are a 60 year old German man, and a 38 year old man and a 33 year old man from the Philippines.
Police are now working with the HSE and Maritime Agency to establish the circumstances.
No arrests have been made.
