Car stolen in house burglary, St Peter’s Avenue, Anlaby, sentimental items also taken. Can you help?

POLICE investigating a burglary in St Peter’s Avenue in Anlaby over the new year period are appealing for information from the public.

The burglary occurred between 0530hrs on Monday 30 December 2013 and 1615hrs on Wednesday 1 January 2014 during which a Samsung 40 inch smart TV along with a Samsung DVD player and the keys to a black Hyundai I20 which thieves used to steal the vehicle.

The vehicle contained a black/ dark grey full face motorcycle helmet with a Rizzla sticker on the back which the victims are particularly keen to have returned to them as it is of great sentimental value. The helmet was to be incorporated into a memorial for their son who sadly died some years ago.

The registration number of the stolen vehicle is YX63 SXG and anyone with any information in connection with the burglary or the whereabouts of the stolen items, in particular the motorcycle helmet, is asked to contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number CM/2018199/14.
