Chimney fire in Lowthorpe

A FIRE engine from Driffield was called to a chimney fire in Lowthorpe on Monday morning.

The fire crew was called out to a council house at 10.17am and spent 20 minutes tackling the fire using chimney rods, a stirrup pump and a jug of water.
