Chimney fire probe

FIRE officers are investigating the cause of a chimney blaze at a house in Little Driffield.

Crews from the Driffield station were called to an address on York Road in the village shortly before 7.15pm on Tuesday, after the fire was reported.

The flames were extinguished by the occupiers using cups of water before firefighters inspected the property.
