Council vacancy
INTEREST is being sought to fill a vacant seat on the Skerne and Wansford parish council.
Electors of the parish have until August 11 to write to the East Riding Council chief executive at County Hall, Beverley to claim a by-election to fill the post.
If 10 electors have not written to claim an election by that date, the council will be allowed to co-opt a new member.
