East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Business Services Team has achieved another milestone, having been re-accredited with the Customer First Award for the sixth time.

Customer First is a nationally-recognised, external accreditation, examining the way organisations look after their customers. It is part of the National Enterprise Network and is awarded to ‘public-facing’ organisations which are audited every two years to ensure they are progressing and continue to offer good services and attention to their clients.

The service is assessed along side an extensive list of criteria which tests the capability, market awareness and customer focus of the teams interactions with the client base and received a glowing reference by the external assessor who said: “This is a very mature and confident organisation, comfortable with its role and capability, extremely competent and passionate to deliver it - a delightful assessment experience.”
