Driffield Dynamix Youth inclusion group launched - Driffield Town crier cutting ribbon.

Dynamix is hosting an open morning on Saturday 22 February from 9am until noon at Driffield School’s Sixth Form Block.

Come along and find out all about joining our exciting club, either as a member or as one of our team of wonderful volunteers. Dynamix volunteer, Cath said: “There’ll be lots of activities to try out and plenty of refreshments on offer.

Dynamix is an inclusive club for young people from 8 to 24 years old who have additional needs or a disability, their family and friends. Launched last September, membership is growing rapidly and our activities and events are growing and expanding too. Every week there’s a theme with sports and games for all.

“For those who want to just hang out and be social with their friends there’s hot toast and space to chill out. For those who crave a little excitement there’s always the computer zone, organised sports with Mark (like football, basketball, parachute games and badminton), crafts with Linda and Brogan, darts, table-top football, karaoke and Wii gaming. Special events include boccia training, a pamper morning, drama workshops, a cinema trip and Dungeons and Dragons.

Ashley, Amanda, Zoe and Sam make up the rest of the Dynamix team and always provide a warm welcome.

If you’re thinking Dynamix may be for you, as a member or volunteer, we’ll look forward to seeing you on February 22.”

If you’d like directions or more information about Dynamix email us at dynamix01@outlook.com or call Ashley on 07929 602067.
