Hundreds of pounds worth of fuel has been stolen from a tank in Wansford.
Humberside Police are investigating the theft of £600 worth of fuel from a house oil tank at a house on Bridlington Road.
The theft took place between Thursday 13 and Saturday 15 February.
A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: “The owners’ house is located off Nafferton Road and backs onto a field which could have been used as an access point by the thieves.”

Police are also investigating the theft of and industrial-sized catering grill stolen from a farmhouse outbuilding in Kilham
The police spokeswoman said: “During Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 February unknown person(s) approached the property located on the back road from Kilham towards Langtoft.
“They entered a metal built outbuilding and removed a LINCAT 32 amp electric, large industrial stainless steel grill with a blue male socket attached.”
