Humberside Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) is now consulting on two separate plans for the period 2014-17. The Strategic Plan outlines the key objectives for the organisation. The Integrated Risk Management Plan (IRMP) identifies the risks facing our communities and how HFRS will manage those risks.
Humberside Fire Authority approved the Strategic Plan 2013-16 in July 2013 and the IRMP 2012-16 in December 2012, following respective 12-week periods of consultation.
In line with the Service Planning Framework, both documents have undergone an annual light touch refresh to reflect relevant changes. At the same time they have been synchronized in terms of the date range they cover, aligning both as 2014-17.
The consultation will last for six weeks and will involve staff, residents, representative bodies and partner agencies, all of which will have the opportunity to express their views on the revised plans.
Both plans can be found on the HFRS website at http://www.humbersidefire.gov.uk/about-us/what-we-do/communication-and-engagement1/strategic-plan-2014-17-consultation where feedback can be given. The views of consultees will be considered when preparing the final version of the plans.
The consultation closes at midnight on Wednesday 26 February.
