The monthly Humber Bridge Farmers’ Market is set to return to the bridge viewing area in Hessle, on Sunday 3rd November, from 9am to 1pm.
Now the chilly weather has arrived, it’s time to get wrapped up warm and head out to the market, where you will find more than 100 stalls selling an array of delicious food and unique gifts.
Plan a hearty winter roast using the local, seasonal produce on offer, or pick up a tasty, freshly-baked cake to enjoy with a cup of coffee at home after a stroll around the market.
With Christmas just around the corner, the Humber Bridge Farmers’ Market is the perfect place to discover a whole host of gifts for all of the family. Its dedicated arts and crafts section is brimming with products, including woollen items, handmade soaps, candles and bags.
Neil Marshall, Business Manager at the Humber Bridge, said: “From locally-sourced meat to a variety of freshly-picked seasonal vegetables, the Humber Bridge Farmers’ Market has all the ingredients for a perfect Sunday roast.
“In addition to the impressive selection of fresh food we have on offer from our excellent, regional producers, the market is also home to traders selling a whole host of stunning gifts and homeware.”
The Humber Bridge Farmers’ Market, which holds accreditation from the National Farmers’ Retail & Markets Association (FARMA), is the largest event of its kind in the region, with over 5,000 visitors each month. It is held on the first Sunday of every month, from 9am to 1pm, and ample free parking is available on site.
Each month, market visitors are invited to vote for their favourite stall in the ‘Trader of the Month’ competition. The winning trader is rewarded with free stall rent for the next event, and all visitors who make a nomination are entered into a prize draw, with a chance of winning a £25 gift voucher to spend at the next market. Market-goers can vote for their favourite at www.facebook.com/humberbridgeevents, or by emailing their nominations to email@example.com
