Man in court after Mill Street incident

A DRIFFIELD man was due to appear in court today (Thursday February 2) following a domestic incident at a property on Mill Street.

Police were called to the property shortly before 2.30pm yesterday (Wednesday February 1) after reports of an ongoing domestic incident.

Adrian Johnstone, 47, of Adelphi Street was arrested at the scene and later charged with assaulting a police officer, a section 4 public order offence, and possessing an offensive weapon.
