Michelin-starred Yorkshire chef James Mackenzie is to be a guest on this week’s edition of the popular BBC TV cookery show Saturday Kitchen.

James, who is chef-owner of the Pipe and Glass Inn at South Dalton, will take part in the live Saturday morning show alongside presenter James Martin, who also hails from Yorkshire, Stephen Terry, chef at the Hardwick in Abergavenny, and actor Kris Marshall, who has recently taken the lead in the popular BBC series Death In Paradise.

James Mackenzie grew up in Filey, and trained at the then Scarborough Technical College (now Yorkshire Coast College), He was head chef at the renowned Star Inn at Harome before buying the Pipe and Glass Inn with wife Kate, who runs front of house, in 2006.
