Police appeal following burglary at Middleton on the Wolds

Humberside Police are appealing for information following four burglaries in the East Yorkshire. Please read and contact the police on 101 with the relevant crime reference or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you have any information.


Between 1130hrs and 1230hrs on Sunday 29 December 2013 a Louis Vuitton handbag, Ted Baker purse and white diamond cluster engagement ring were stolen from an address on Eastfield Court, Hessle. The burglary was thought to take place when the occupant was another part of the house, with the unknown offender entering the kitchen via an insecure rear door.


Occurring between 1130hrs and 2230hrs on Sunday 29 December 2013, it is alleged that a burglary resulted in the theft of jewellery and cash whilst the owner was away from her address on Station Road, Middleton-on-the-Wold. An unknown suspect is thought to have gained entry by forcing open the dining room window of the bungalow property.


A laptop, camera, dongle and an open bottle of wine were stolen between 2100hrs and 2200hrs on Friday 27 December 2013 from an address on Trafford Road, Willerby. An unknown offender is alleged to have taken the items from the kitchen area after entering through the insecure rear door.

Between the dates of Saturday 21 December and Sunday 22 December 2013, a man had his wallet stolen after an unknown offender allegedly entered the rear garden of the property and forcibly gaining entry through the bedroom window at an address on Hull Road, Anlaby.
